Prince George’s County Executive Angela Alsobrooks has received another high-profile endorsement in her bid to win the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Ben Cardin. U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand of New York says Alsobrooks is the best qualified to fight alongside her in Washington as the nation finds itself at a crossroads. Gillibrand says Alsobrooks has the experience and proven track record of fighting to protect women and families, increasing health care access, building new schools and making historic education funding, and securing billions of dollars in investments to underserved communities. More than 120 state and federal lawmakers have endorsed Alsobrooks for the Senate.
