WILDFIRES CONTINUE TO BURN ACROSS WEST VIRGINIA

The wildfires mostly in the southern region of the state continue to burn.  Since the start of the fall fire season there have been more than 19-thousand acres that have burned.  Yesterday offered a little bit of rain, but that was hardly enough to make an impact on the flames.  Several of the fires only have a handful of Division of Forestry fire crews battling the fires, as staffing numbers remain very low.
