Sports betting contributed more than five-point-eight-million dollars to the state in October, which is the best single-month to date. Each of the state’s 13 retail and 12 mobile sportsbooks contribute 15-percent of their taxable winnings to the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund for public education. More than 483-million dollars in wagers were made last month. That’s the second-best single-month total, trailing only December of last year, which brought in more than 497-million dollars in bets.
