Inadequate monitoring is how the spending of COVID money by local schools was summed up at yesterday’s legislative meeting in Wheeling. The Legislative Auditor’s Office presented their audit to lawmakers. The Audit questioned whether there were enough eyes on how the more than one-billion dollars was spent.
