TWO SENTENCED ON FEDERAL DRUG CHARGES

Romney resident Andrew Lee Jones and Heather Marie Alexander of Winchester have been sentenced for their roles in the sale of heroin and fentanyl in Hampshire County. Both appeared for sentencing Monday in federal court. Jones will serve 21 months in prison, while Alexander will serve 18 months. They had previously entered guilty pleas to charges, related to a drug trafficking organization that was responsible for the distribution of heroin and fentanyl in the region.
