Forty-nine-year-old Hedgesville resident Jennifer Conley is dead following a shooting Monday morning in Spring Mills. Police were called to an urgent care facility for a reported shooting and found her unresponsive in the parking lot. She was pronounced dead there, and her ex-husband, Dennis Conley was later arrested during a traffic stop; they also recovered a gun during that stop. Investigators say he had been making criminal threats toward the victim for several months preceding the shooting. He has been charged with murder, has been arraigned and is currently lodged in the Eastern Regional Jail without bond.
