Newly-released security footage at a Nashville bar disputes claims made against Chris Young by an Alcoholic Beverage Commission agent. The country music singer was arrested Monday night for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault on an officer. In the arrest affidavit, the agent claimed Young tried to stop him from leaving the bar and, quote, “stuck me on the shoulder.” It went on to say, “I then pushed Mr. Young to create distance.” Surveillance footage from inside the bar shows Young tapping the agent on the arm to get his attention. The agent then appeared to escalate the situation by forcefully pushing Young, causing him to stumble backwards and fall. That’s when Young collected himself and put his hands up in a surrendering motion.
