Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk announced on Friday that he would drop three misdemeanor charges against singer Chris Young stemming from an incident involving Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents. “After a review of all the evidence in this case, the Office of the District Attorney has determined that these charges will be dismissed,” Funk said in a release.
“Mr. Young and I are gratified with the DA’s decision clearing him of the charges and any wrong-doing,” Young’s attorney, Bill Ramsey, said in a statement.
Young will release his next album, “Young Love & Saturday Nights” on March 22. His “Young Love & Saturday Nights 2024 Tour” is set to begin in April.
