RIPKEN EXCITED TO BE PART OF ORIOLES’ NEW OWNERSHIP GROUP

Baseball legend Cal Ripken Jr. says he’s “excited” to once again be part of the Orioles’ organization and he’s thanking billionaire David Rubenstein for including him in the ownership group purchasing the club.  The Orioles confirm the Angelos family has agreed to sell the team to a group of investors for more than one-point-seven-billion dollars.  In a statement, Ripken said the  Orioles have been a part of his life since he was a child and this is a special day.  He said he looks forward to this opportunity and will do whatever he can to help the organization.  He added, “Let’s go O’s.”
