GOVERNOR MOORE UNVEILS 2024 STATE PLAN

Governor Wes Moore held a virtual town hall with state employees on Thursday to announce his “2024 State Plan.”  Moore says it is the first state plan to be released in nearly ten years and it lays out his administration’s vision to support ten key priorities. The goals include addressing child poverty, setting up students for success, creating safer communities, connecting Marylanders to jobs and creating an equitable, robust, and competitive economy. The Governor’s Office of Performance Improvement will begin publicly reporting progress on key performance indicators in early 2025. Governor Moore will also appoint a Performance Cabinet later this year to regularly review and evaluate State Plan progress.
