MARYLAND LAWMAKERS PROPOSE CAP ON PRESCRIPTION DRUG PRICES

State lawmakers are considering a bill that would place a cap on some prescription drug prices in Maryland.  Senate Bill 388 would let the Prescription Drug Affordability Board cap prices of certain prescriptions.  Several local leaders have thrown their support behind the bill, including Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott, Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski and Howard County Executive Calvin Ball.
