All seven of Maryland’s Democratic House members voted in favor of a one-trillion-dollar government spending bill. The measure passed 286-134 this morning and now the Senate will take up the measure and try to avoid a partial shutdown by midnight tonight. Maryland’s lone Republican Congressman Andy Harris voted against the package. President Biden says he will sign the bill immediately after passage by the Senate.
