DIVE TEAMS RECOVER TWO BODIES FROM KEY BRIDGE WRECKAGE

The bodies of two construction workers have been recovered from the Patapsco River after the collapse of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore. Maryland State Police Superintendent, Colonel Roland Butler says the victims’ bodies were discovered at around 10 a.m. Wednesday, inside a red pickup truck in around 25-feet of water.  The victims are identified as 35-year-old Alejandro Hernandez Fuentes and 26-year-old Dorlian Ronial Castillo Cabrera. Authorities say it is no longer safe for recovery divers to navigate the wreckage and efforts have shifted to a salvage operation. Following the salvage phase, divers will continue their efforts to recover the bodies of four additional construction workers who went missing in the bridge collapse.
