Major League Baseball owners have approved the sale of the Baltimore Orioles. The Angelos family is selling the team to a group led by Baltimore native David Rubenstein. Former NBA star Grant Hill, former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and Cal Ripken, Jr. are also included in the ownership group. Rubenstein issued a social media message to Orioles fans, thanking the Angelos family and highlighting his focus on bringing the World Series trophy back to Baltimore.
