Bowling Green resident Phillip Allen Walker was killed in a Saturday morning crash on Winchester Road. Sixty-six-year-old Karen Walker was extricated from the wreckage and flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. Winchester Road was closed for several hours, while crash team investigators from both the Cumberland City Police and the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office investigated. Several agencies, including the Maryland State Police, Bowling Green and Cresaptown Fire Departments, along with the Allegany County Department of Emergency Services.
