GOVERNOR MOORE TO TRAVEL TO D.C. AGAIN TO DISCUSS BRIDGE FUNDING

Maryland Governor Wes Moore is expected to travel to Washington, DC again today to discuss funding for the reconstruction of the Francis Scott Key Bridge.  The governor met with members of Maryland’s Congressional delegation and the Biden administration earlier this month, asking Congress to approve funding to rebuild the span and reopen the Port of Baltimore.  Following the March 26th bridge collapse, President Biden pledged that the federal government would foot the bill to rebuild the bridge as quickly as possible.
