Cumberland resident Brian Wade Simmons, Jr., faces drug charges, following an initial report of an assault in the 600-block of Maryland Avenue on Wednesday. Simmons was arrested and transported to police headquarters for processing. He was also found to be in possession of cocaine and CDS paraphernalia. He received an initial appearance and was ordered held on $1,000 bond.
