If you are an employer, join in the 2024 “Empowerfest” on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Disability Action Center, 448 Leonard Avenue, in Fairmont, West Virginia. Resume Assistance will be offered, along with speed hiring, partner resources, free haircuts and more—it’s all part of the vent, sponsored by the Region VI American Job Center Partner Network. Employers should have at least one open position, have the ability to accept applications and resumes (wi-fi is available!), and have the ability to interview potential job seekers. this is NOT a job fair; employers must be willing to engage with and interview job seekers.
