Fewer people are seeking unemployment benefits in Maryland. The U.S. Labor Department reports initial filings dropped to 19-hundred-70 last week. That’s 641 fewer than the previous week. Nationally, initial unemployment claims fell by five-thousand, to a seasonally-adjusted 212-thousand.
