UPMC-Western Maryland has donated a quarter of a million dollars to five community organizations. Cumberland Times-News reporter Greg Larry reports donations went to the Western Maryland Food Bank, the Western Maryland Health System Foundation, the Salvation Army, the Union Rescue Mission and the Allegany County Department of Social Services. The organizations were chosen, based on a long-standing history of collaboration and teamwork with UPMC.
