A jury in Berkeley County, West Virginia has convicted a Hagerstown man on felony sexual abuse and sex assault charges. Thirty-five-year-old Dustin Carey was arrested in 2021 on charges that included first-degree sexual abuse, second-degree sexual assault and five counts of misdemeanor battery. Carey faces maximum sentences of 24-and-a-half to 60-years in prison, up to 50 years of supervised release and more than 42-thousand-dollars in fines. His sentencing is scheduled for June.
