GOVERNOR MEETS CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

Governor Wes Moore traveled to Washington, DC Wednesday to meet with members of Congress and discuss federal funding to replace the collapsed Key Bridge.  Maryland U.S. Senators Ben Cardin and Chris Van Hollen are continuing their push to ensure 100-percent federal support to rebuild the bridge. Cardin says it’s critically important that the bridge be replaced as quickly as possible and the Baltimore Bridge Relief Act he filed with Van Hollen has also been filed as an amendment to the FAA bill.  Van Hollen says the entire Maryland delegation has been united in supporting legislation that would make good on President Biden’s commitment for 100-percent funding.
