The Pennsylvania House has voted down a pair of bills on gun safety. One would have banned machine gun conversion devices; another aimed to curb gun trafficking. Both measures failed by a 101-100 vote. Democratic state representative Frank Burns of Cambria joined every Republican in opposing each measure.
