GOVERNOR GIVES MORE BENEFITS TO STATE EMPLOYEES

Governor Josh Shapiro is giving more employment benefits to people who work for the state.  He signed an executive order Tuesday that will expand childcare services and sick leave for physical and mental health issues.  The idea also provides financial incentives for the state to hire people who speak foreign languages. The governor says the improved internships and mentorships in the order will help provide more services to military personnel who are returning to life as a civilian and become a state worker.
