Senate Democrats believe President Biden is ready to debate his political rival Donald Trump in June. Maryland Senator Chris Van Hollen on ABC’s “This Week” pointed to Biden’s State of the Union address in March, in which Van Hollen said the president “came out swinging.” Trump and Biden have agreed to debate each other twice in the coming months, with the first debate set for June 27th. Trump, meanwhile, is calling on Biden to take a drug test before the debate, claiming Biden was “high as a kite” during his State of the Union address.
