West Virginia detectives have a new tool in their toolbox to help solve future cold cases. As of yesterday, the new cold crime database law is effect at the West Virginia Fusion Center at Marshall University. The new law will provide a centralized place to preserve and hold evidence of unsolved cases. Other states have similar procedures in place.
