REMAINING KEY BRIDGE STRUCTURES TO BE DEMOLISHED

The portions of the Key Bridge that remain standing after the March 26 collapse will soon be demolished.  According to the Baltimore Banner, MDTA officials say the demolition will include the remaining ramps on either side of the bridge which cannot be reused as part of the rebuild. Demolition is expected to begin this summer or fall, and it will take around ten months.  The plan is to have a new bridge built by the fall of 2028.
