In Morgantown, a man with a name familiar to many West Virginia voters is facing DUI charges. Businessman and former chairman of the West Virginia Republican Party John Raese was arrested this past Saturday at the scene of a multi-vehicle accident. Reports say he smelled of alcohol, failed field sobriety tests and admitted to recently having had a few cocktails. Raese was a candidate for West Virginia governor in 1988 and ran for the U.S. Senate out of West Virginia in 1984, 2006, 2010 and 2012.
