THREE PRISON GUARDS FACE PRISON TIME

Three former correctional officers at Hazelton Prison in Preston County are facing prison time after admitting to assaulting an inmate and trying to cover it up. Robert Sims caused serious injuries by repeatedly striking the prisoner, while Joshua Sines and Josiah Redd helped cover up the incident by falsifying reports. All three officers have resigned from their positions and could face several years in prison, with Sims facing the longest possible sentence of up to ten years.
