LINDA WIDMYER CHOSEN FOR SCHOOL BOARD

By a 2 to 1 vote, the Allegany County Board of Commissioners appointed Linda Widmyer as the next member of the Board of Education. The vacancy was created when Bob Farrell passed away on December 3rd. Board President Dave Caporale and member Creade Brodie voted in favor of the appointment, while Commissioner Bill Atkinson voted against it.
