POLLS SAYS MOST MARYLANDERS SAY STATE IS MOVING IN WRONG DIRECTION

A new Gonzales Research Poll indicates that a majority of Marylanders feel the state is on the wrong track.  Fifty-percent of those surveyed said the state is moving in the wrong direction while 41-percent said the state is moving in the right direction.  The poll also found that 58-percent of those surveyed said economic conditions are “only fair” to “poor” while 42-percent said they are “excellent” or “pretty good.”  The survey of 804 registered voters was conducted from March 5th through the 9th with a 3-point-5-percent margin of error.
