Allegany County Habitat for Humanity is holding a grand opening of the expanded location of its Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 28 Lane Avenue in LaVale today at 10:30 a.m. The celebration includes an in-store scavenger hunt for coupons today and10 per cent off merchandise both today and tomorrow. The Habitat ReStore is a home improvement store and resale center that sells donated furniture, home accessories, building supplies and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. All funds raised by the ReStore are used to help local families build strength and stability through affordable home ownership. The ReStore is open on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Hours of operation also are being expanded.
