Two people were hurt yesterday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident involving a school bus on
Route 36, near Motor City. There were no students on the bus. The bus driver was taken to UMPC-Western Maryland, while the driver of the second vehicle was flown to a Baltimore hospital by Trooper Five for treatment of serious injuries. The crash occurred about 3:40 p.m., with multiple fire and rescue units responding to the scene. The Allegany County Sheriff’s Office was investigating the cause of the accident and further details were not immediately available, according to the Cumberland Times-News.
