The Maryland Department of Lottery and Gaming has issued cease-and-desist letters to more than a dozen online gaming platforms that appear to be operating illegally. Officials say the agency issued the letters in an effort to stop unauthorized gaming and sports betting platforms. The letters ask the operators to either confirm that they are not operating illegally, or to cease and desist gaming activities that they’re not licensed or registered to conduct. A complete list of the platforms can be found at mdgaming.com.
