CONGRESSWOMAN JOINS MD. DEMOCRATS IN PUSHING H.H.S. FOR ANSWERS ABOUT MASS LAYOFFS

Sixth District Representative April McClain Delaney has joined fellow Democrats in Maryland’s Congressional Delegation in pushing for answers about the mass termination of civil servants at the Department of Health and Human Services.  In a letter to HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., McClain Delaney and the others want to know more about the extent and impact the layoffs will have on the state and country.  The lawmakers are requesting that Secretary Kennedy meet with them to answer the questions by May 1st.
