GOVERNOR SUPPORTS PROPERTY OWNER RIGHTS REGARDING PROPOSED POWER LINE PROJECT

Maryland Governor Wes Moore says he supports property owner rights when it comes to the proposed Piedmont Reliability Project. The power line project would cut through Baltimore, Carroll and Frederick counties and the Public Service Enterprise Group recently filed a lawsuit against more than 100 landowners seeking access to survey their properties. The governor says he does not believe in eminent domain and he’s always going to stand with the people on those issues.
