Former First Mariner Bank executive and Baltimore Blast owner Ed Hale may challenge Wes Moore in the 2026 Democratic primary for Maryland governor. Hale tells the Baltimore Banner he’s “pretty sure” that he’ll run, adding he thinks Governor Moore will make a run for president. Meanwhile, Governor Moore has repeatedly stated that he will not be running for president. On Thursday, Moore appeared on ABC’s The View where he once again denied that he would enter the presidential race.
