STATE FUNDING IN PA. DIRECTED TO BRIDGE REPAIR

Millions of dollars in emergency state funding are being directed to southern Somerset County to repair a heavily traveled bridge on U.S. Route 219, between Boynton and Salisbury, which was damaged by recent flooding. Plans are for a temporary bridge to reopen Route 219 as quickly as possible. The cost of the temporary bridge and the eventual reconstruction of a new bridge will be around $7 million.
