W.V. WORKERS RALLY OVER NIOSH CUTS

Union workers at NIOSH are rallying in Washington D.C. and Morgantown today over DOGE cuts that eliminated several hundred jobs.  The American Federation of Government Employees is protesting at the Department of Health and Human Services headquarters at noon.  About 300 workers were recently reinstated in Morgantown, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, but approximately 700 employees remain on administrative leave.  Union leaders say the remaining 300 workers cannot handle the workload of one-thousand people.
