NewCold is planning to invest more than 275-million-dollars in a temperature-controlled, automated warehouse in Hagerstown. Mayor William McIntire says the project will create 125 to 150 new employment opportunities for area residents. He says NewCold’s state-of-the-art, automated facility will require a number of technology and specialized workers and the new investment and quality, skilled jobs will be a boost to the economy. NewCold facilities use state-of-the-art proprietary technology to automatically move and store products in high-bay warehouses.
