The city of Cumberland is beginning on its Comprehensive Plan. Every ten years, the state of Maryland asks municipalities across the state to take a look at their communities and update their Comprehensive Plan. The plan guides public policy on a broad range of topics and issues, including land use, housing, transportation, economic development and other areas. Woodvalley Strategies is the consultant hired to help create the plan. They will be in town on Monday, July 28th, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., to meet with residents in the City Hall Council Chambers. All residents are invited to attend and participate.
