SMOKE CAUSES EVACUATION OF KEYSER HEALTHCARE CENTER

Smoke inside the Keyser Healthcare Center forced the evacuation of more than 100 residents Saturday evening, with at least three residents sent to the WVU Medicine Potomac Valley Hospital for treatment of respiratory issues. Other residents were taken to the Keyser Fire Department Station #2 by ambulances and buses. Firefighters, EMS, and volunteers from across at least six counties helped in the transport. Buses to transport residents were provided by the Potomac Valley Transit Authority.
