Small businesses and nonprofits in Western Maryland affected by the May 2025 flooding are being offered low-interest disaster loans by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Loans can reach up to two-million-dollars with interest rates starting at four-percent for businesses and around three-point-six-percent for nonprofits. Repayment terms can extend up to 30 years. The funds can go toward covering fixed debts, payroll, and other bills impacted by the floods. Applications must be submitted before March 2026.
