Rockwood resident Brittany Snyder is facing child abuse charges after she allegedly picked up a 2-year old and threw him six to ten feet in 2021. Pennsylvania State Police had tried to set up an interview several times with her since 2021 but were met with “negative results.” She eventually agreed to an interview in May of this year, at which time she admitted she threw the toddler. She has now been arrested and later released on $25,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing has been set for October 1st.
