Keith Urban has a warning for “The Road” contestants. In an early preview of the CBS reality show series, the singer shared some truths about life on the road and admitted there have been moments that make him question why he goes on tour. Urban said “you’re in the middle of nowhere and you’ve got to play your fifth show later that night, you haven’t slept, you miss your friends, and your family, and you’re completely miserable and sick.” The country star added “The only answer can be: Because this is what I’m born to do.” “The Road” will see twelve musicians compete as Urban’s opening act, hoping to win over crowds and secure their spot at the next tour stop. The series first episode airs on October 19th on CBS.
