A group of residents of the Bel Air, Pinto and the surrounding areas attended a meeting yesterday with the Allegany County Commissioners, along with state and federal officials. No formal action was taken at the meeting, which was held at the Allegany County Fairgrounds. Residents, according to the Cumberland Times-News, commented on ways to conserve water, and the struggle to survive financially, due to the high water rates.
