The Kenny Chesney you see on stage isn’t the same guy you’d see in his regular, everyday life. In a conversation with CMS Sunday Morning, the singer revealed that his actual personality is “more complicated, more thoughtful, and even a little shy.” He explained “it takes a certain amount of ego to be up there on stage and to do what I do,” adding “But I try really hard to leave that person up there.” Chesney said he can’t be that person every day but he’s glad to “meet him” back on stage.
