The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has declined to review the conviction of former Somerset County District Attorney Jeff Thomas. He was convicted in 2023 of sexual assault, indecent assault and strangulation for an attack at a Windber home. He is currently serving his sentence and will be required to register as a sex offender for 15 years upon release.
