The annual city of Cumberland Tree Lighting and Holiday Parade takes place on Friday, from 5 to 8 p.m,. Several temporary traffic closures will be implemented. Traffic adjustments and No Parking will be in effect from 3 p.m. to midnight, and the following closures will apply: Baltimore Street, between Mechanic Street to George Street; Centre Street, from Dexter Place to Frederick Street; Liberty Street, from Frederick Street to Pershing Street; and Bedford at Centre Street, closed, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Traffic will also be temporarily halted on Frederick Street, while the parade progresses toward Liberty Street.
