COMMUNITY COLLEGE ENROLLMENT SHOWS GROWTH IN WEST VIRGINIA

West Virginia’s community and technical colleges are reporting a slight enrollment increase for the fall semester.  Total enrollment across nine two-year schools reaches 18-thousand-300 students, up from last year’s nearly 18-thousand.  That represents two-point-four-percent growth, though it trails the national average.  Dual enrollment students still make up about 26-percent of total enrollment with approximately 49-hundred high school students taking college classes.
